Fire that broke out at the warehouse of the Sher-e-Bangla Medical College in Barishal on Sunday morning has been brought under control, reports RisingBD.
The fire that originated around 9 am at the ground floor of the hospital’s Medicine Unit was brought under control around 11 am.
Earlier, Mizanur Rahman, deputy director of the Fire Service Barishal Divisional Office said, “Eight fire engines are working to bring the fire under control.”
The firefighters rushed to the spot around 9:50 am, he said. He also added that the cause of the fire could not be determined.
Patients evacuated the building in panic as news of the fire spread.
