Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said that BNP will face a long-term consequence for its mistake of abstaining from the 7 January national election.
“I am surprised that despite being granted bail on health grounds, Mirza Fakhrul, using crutches, went to hold a meeting with the visiting US delegation to complain against the country. BNP believes in the politics of filing complaints. Thus, the party will have to pay for a long time,” he said, reports Daily Sun.
Claiming that Awami League does not believe in politics of exaggeration, Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said that his party will face such politics through political means.
Obaidul Quader was exchanging views with local reporters in Daganbhuyan of Feni while en route to his native village in Noakhali on Monday.
