New office timing for government, semi-government, autonomous, semi-autonomous and private offices started from 9 am on Tuesday as per the decision of the Cabinet meeting.
The government had decided to cut back working hours at government offices, autonomous institutions and banks, starting on 23 August, amid a lingering energy crisis due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
As the target has been fulfilled, the government announced new office timing from 15 November.
Mentioning that day duration becoming smaller during the winter, the authority said the government has changed the office timing from 9 am to 4 pm instead of 8 am as the target of the electricity saving has already been fulfilled.
Meanwhile, offices of all government and private financial organisations are also being operated in the new office timing.
