The government on Monday rearranged the office timing from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for all the government and autonomous offices which will come into effect from November 15 next.
The decision came from a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam revealed the new office timing while briefing reporters after the meeting.
Earlier on August 22, the government rearranged the office timing from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm for all the government and autonomous offices and from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for all banks in a bid to save electricity amid short supply.
