Jatiya Party (JP) has nominated its chairman GM Quader as the leader of the opposition while senior co-chairman Annisul Islam Mahmud as deputy leader of the opposition in the National Parliament.
Another senior leader Fakhrul Imam has also been nominated as the chief whip of the opposition in the Parliament, party sources said.
Parliamentary Committee of the party has already nominated the above leaders for the positions and wants to see the changes.
They are likely to be appointed in the posts ahead of the upcoming Parliament session.
