The day and the night temperature may rise slightly over the country, said the met office on Tuesday.
According to the latest weather bulletin of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over northern part of the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and the minimum temperature was 25 degrees Celsius in Dimla, Rajarhat and Rangamati respectively.
The met office said the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours (Till 6 am Tuesday) was recorded at 59mm in Mymensingh.
The sun sets at 6:19 pm today (Tuesday) and rises at 5:40 am tomorrow (Wednesday) in Dhaka.
