United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), citing figures from the WHO, said there had been 36 Israeli attacks on healthcare facilities since the escalation with Hezbollah in September, reports Al Jazeera.
It said 85 health workers have been killed and 51 others wounded while they were on duty between September 17 and October 31.
The UN’s humanitarian agency said medical first responders continued to operate in “highly dangerous situations”, noting that Israeli attacks had killed at least six of them in southern Lebanon on October 31.
