Amid rumours of a split between India's former tennis ace Sania Mirza and former Pakistani national cricketer Shoaib Malik, a few media houses in Pakistan have claimed that they are officially divorced now, reports odishatv.in.
Speculations were rife that Sania Mirza is going through a turbulent phase in her marriage with Shoaib Malik and that the couple is thinking about splitting, but fresh reports suggest that they have already parted ways.
According to Pakistan media, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik have been living separately for quite some time now and are now formally divorced.
One Umair Sandhu who claims to be a member of Overseas Censor Board wrote on Twitter, "Officially Confirmed, #SaniaMirza and #ShoaibMalik officially DIVORCED now! Sad for the Couple."
Sania and Shoaib had tied the knot in 2010. Recently, rumours started making rounds that Sania caught Shoaib cheating on her and it devastated her. Consequently, she decided to divorce him, though an official confirmation from the couple is still awaited.
Even though the couple is yet to address the rumours, a report by DNA quoting Pakistani media said that Malik cheated on the star tennis player and this led to the duo living separately since then.
Now, they are formally divorced, living separately and presently co-parenting their son Izhaan, claimed the Pak media.
