Prime Minister's Finance Advisor Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir said that the government will not rush into any unnecessary project due to nepotism or anyone's influence.
He made this statement at a press conference at the NEC conference room on Thursday evening.
He said, “Transparency and accountability will be ensured at every stage from project acceptance to implementation. In the past, projects were taken to fill pockets. In this case, there was 'Incompetent Persons' in the Planning Ministry. The project deadline has been extended unnecessarily.”
Rashed Al Mahmud Chowdhury Titumir said that incidents like the pillow case have occurred due to irregularities and corruption. Unnecessary expenses have increased, which has put the country's economy under debt pressure.
He also said, “The government is formulating policies and strategies to build a trillion-dollar economy by 2034. For this, all information related to government activities will be presented to the public regularly.”
