The central bank of Bangladesh has announced a price increase for its commemorative gold and silver coins, effective immediately. According to a press release from the Department of Communications and Publications, the adjustment comes in response to the rising prices of gold and silver in both the local and international markets.
As per the new pricing, the commemorative gold coins (with a box) will now be sold for 135,000 taka, while the silver coins (also with a box) will be priced at 7,000 taka each. This price revision reflects the current trends in global precious metal markets and the domestic economy.
