Some $1.25 billion in remittances has been received during the first 16 days of November. At an exchange rate of Tk 120 per dollar, this amounts to approximately Tk 15,062 crore in Bangladeshi currency. Bangladesh Bank (BB) released a report on this matter on Sunday.
According to the central bank data, the daily remittance inflow reached over $78.44 million as of November 16, totalling Tk 15,062 crore. This compares to $79.8 million last month and $64.3 million in November of the previous year.
