The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will host the inaugural Bangladesh Cricket Conference 2025 on 9–10 November with the aim of decentralising cricket development across the country, reports the Daily Sun.
The programme is scheduled to be held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka.
Part of the BCB’s “Connect and Grow” initiative, the two-day conference will bring together four representatives from each district — the District Cricket President, a government sports officer, a district coach, and a woman entrepreneur — to discuss challenges, available resources, and future development plans.
BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul said the event would help guide future investments in pitches, turf wickets, and local leagues, while also promoting female participation and laying the groundwork for sustainable, region-based cricket growth.
