The head coach of Bangladesh national cricket team Chandika Hathurusingha was present as the representative of the team in a press conference ahead of Monday’s match of Bangladesh versus Sri Lanka in Delhi.
About the current failure in world cup of the team, the coach said, “My main tasks will start after the world cup. I had nothing to do in last seven months.”
Bangladesh has been passing a very hard time in current world cup. They were dropped off prior to semifinals as they’ve suffered six defeats out of seven matches.
Now, they’re in fear of not able to play in Champions Trophy going to be held in 2025, as it will be very hard for them to secure at least the 8th place among 10 teams.
