In the face of continuous defeat, various discussions and criticisms are going on over the Bangladesh Cricket team. BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon also has open up about it.
He said, "The team is losing continuously. No one will stand by the cricketers in such a time. But even if there is no one, we are by their side. There is no way but to improve the next three matches. Doing this requires two things. One is to instill in them the courage and belief that they can. If it doesn't come to them, they will be hesitant. So I tried to do that. They say they are united. There is no problem among them. The thought that they can't win makes them feel even worse as they are our superstars.'
The BCB chief said, "People will criticize the board, the coaching staff and the players, It's normal. I personally think as the tournament goes on, there are three more matches left for them. Not that we can do anything special in these matches. But we are capable. I strongly believe it is still possible. Winning or losing is not a big deal, playing good cricket is real.”
“Our batting isn’t going on well, but we’ve trust on them that they would do better in the upcoming matches,” added Papon.
