Australia beat the Netherlands by 309 runs in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Wednesday.
In response to Australia’s 399 runs, the Netherlands wrapped up only 90 runs in 21 overs losing all wickets.
This is the lowest score of any team in the tournament so far. Netherlands opener Vikramjit Singh scored the highest 25 runs off 25 balls while Teja Nidamanuru scored 14 runs off 18 balls.
Australian bowler Adam Zampa bagged 4 wickets while Mitchell Marsh got 2 wickets.
Earlier in the first innings, former champion Australia posted a big 399 runs in 50 overs by losing 8 wickets against the Netherlands.
Opener David Warner smashed 104 runs off 93 balls while Steven Smith scored 71 runs from 68 balls and all-rounder Glenn Maxwell smashed brilliant 106 runs off 44 balls.
Dutch bowlers Logan van Beek bagged 4 wickets while Bas de Leede bagged 2 wickets.
Australia won the toss and elected to bat first.
Glenn Maxwell has become the player of the match.
