Popular actor-producer Tauquir Ahmed is set to return this Eid-ul-Azha with a new telefilm, continuing his long-standing connection with audiences through memorable dramas and telefilms.
Titled “Zohra Begum Er Ecchaparta”, the telefilm features Tauquir not only in a key acting role but also as the screenwriter. It is directed by Arif Khan.
Speaking about the project, Tauquir Ahmed said that while Eid productions often lean towards light and festive themes, he wanted to explore something different this time. “The story reflects various phases and turns of life,” he said, expressing hope that the telefilm will resonate with viewers despite the crowded Eid lineup.
Director Arif Khan praised Tauquir’s work, calling the story “extraordinary” and expressing his gratitude to the entire cast for their sincere performances.
The telefilm boasts a star-studded lineup, including Mamunur Rashid, Ferdousi Majumder, Afzal Hossain, Deepa Khandaker, and Zakia Bari Mamo, among others.
