Prominent actress Bipasha Hayat has been captivating audience with her performances for more than two decades. However, in recent years, she has stepped away from acting, leaving fans eagerly waiting for her return to the screen.
She was recently approached for a key role in the much-discussed film “Bonolota Express”, released during Eid-ul-Fitr. The film’s director Tanim Noor offered her an important role. Despite the opportunity, Bipasha chose to decline the role.
In a podcast appearance, Bipasha explained that she is drawn to roles that demand intense effort; projects that make her feel fully immersed, challenged both physically and mentally. She felt that the role in “Bonolota Express” did not provide enough scope for creative exploration or personal challenge, which ultimately led to her decision.
Even though she did not join the project, she expressed her best wishes for the film’s success.
The movie features a strong ensemble cast, including Mosharraf Karim, Chanchal Chowdhury, Sariful Razz, Sabila Noor, Shamol Mawla, and Azmeri Haque Badhan.
Beyond its domestic success, “Bonolota Express” has also performed impressively in the international market. Notably, it made history by becoming the first Bangladeshi film to break into the top 20 of the North American (United States and Canada) box office charts.
