Although versatile actor Mosharraf Karim remains busy with acting projects throughout the year, audience expectations soar when Eid-ul-Fitr approaches. This year is no exception. The celebrated performer is ready to meet those expectations with a strong presence across dramas, web content and films. He will be seen in multiple creative ventures spanning all three mediums during the upcoming Eid.
The greatest strength of Mosharraf Karim’s career lies in his versatility. He can effortlessly make audiences laugh, yet portray deeply tragic characters with equal conviction. Maintaining that balance, he aims to reflect his signature diversity in this year’s Eid offerings as well. His presence alone promises an added attraction for viewers.
One of his most talked-about releases this Eid is the film “Bonolota Express”. Produced under the banners of Hoichoi Studios, Buriganga Talkies and Dope, the film features an ensemble cast including Chanchal Chowdhury, Zakia Bari Mamo, Azmeri Haque Badhan, Intekhab Dinar, Shyamal Mawla, Sabila Nur and Shariful Razz alongside Mosharraf Karim. Based on the story “Kichhukkhon” by renowned novelist Humayun Ahmed, the film explores human emotions, unspoken pain and the subtle tensions within relationships.
Director Tanim Noor describes the project as more than just a movie. “Humayun Ahmed’s story contains silent pain and deep humanity. Bonolota Express is the visual expression of that feeling. The audience will experience a spiritual and emotional journey through the story,” he said to the media.
Despite stiff competition from several commercial releases during Eid, Mosharraf Karim remains optimistic about this content-driven film. He believes audience will find both heartfelt storytelling and pure entertainment in Bonolota Express.
On 11February, the actor returned home after performing holy Umrah. Although the spiritual journey brought a brief pause to his hectic schedule, he soon resumed work. In the meantime, he completed shooting for the drama “Shoda Shotto Bolibo” directed by Sagar Jahan and written by Ashraful Chanchal. Aisha Khan stars opposite him in the project. Mosharraf Karim expressed his excitement about reuniting with Sagar Jahan after a long time.
He will also appear in another Eid project by the same director titled “Adu Bhai”.
All in all, Mosharraf Karim is set to offer a rich variety of performances this Eid-ul-Fitr-from “Bonolota Express” in cinemas to nearly a dozen television dramas. With each project presenting a distinct story, this Eid promises to be a special treat for audiences, with Mosharraf Karim at the heart of the celebration.
