Dhallywood megastar Shakib Khan’s upcoming film “Rockstar” is slated for release on Eid-ul-Azha, and Miss Universe Bangladesh Tangia Zaman Methila is being widely discussed as one of the film’s leading ladies.
Multiple sources connected to the production told a news outlet that Methila has already met the director several times and has even selected her character. There are also indications that a Pakistani actress may appear as the second heroine in the film.
However, the identity of the main heroine is being kept under wraps. Industry insiders suggest that a top Pakistani actress could be cast in that role.
Although the matter is currently surrounded by rumours, the producers have not confirmed any names, as no contracts have been finalised yet.
Speaking on the issue, director Azman Russo said,“Nothing can be said about the heroine right now. We will officially announce the name of the second heroine once everything is finalised. It would not be right to comment before that.”
Shakib Khan is currently busy shooting for the film “Prince”. After completing that project, he will take a two-week break before starting work on “Rockstar”.
