Earlier, on March 9, a notice signed by Rezaul Karim Siddique, the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Railways, informed the public about the advance ticket sales for Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to the notice, tickets for March 29 were sold on March 19, and tickets for March 30 are being sold on March 20.
The Ministry of Railways also mentioned that tickets for April 1 and 2 may be sold based on the sighting of the moon on March 31.
Furthermore, in response to passenger requests, 25% of standing tickets will be offered at the starting station prior to the commencement of the journey.
However, for Eid travel, each passenger can purchase tickets only once and collect a maximum of four seats. The Ministry also stated that no ticket will be refunded.
