Two DIGs, 18 Addl-DIGs, 44 SPs transferred

Two DIGs, 18 Addl-DIGs, 44 SPs transferred

As part of the ongoing reshuffle in the police administration, two officers with the rank of deputy inspector general (DIG), 18 officers with the rank of additional DIG and 44 superintendents of police (SPs) have been transferred and attached to different police units.

Two separate notifications were issued on Monday in this regard by the Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs, reports BSS.

Police Staff College DIG Dr Md Nazmul Karim Khan has been transferred to Gazipur Metropolitan Police as a commissioner.

Highway Police DIG Atika Islam has been attached to the Dhaka Range DIG Office.

Besides, 18 additional DIGs have been transferred and attached to various units.

Meanwhile, 44 SPs were also transferred and attached to different units is divisions and districts.
