The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) is ready to prevent any kind of vandalism. Deputy Commissioner of DMP’s Media and Public Relations Department, Mohammad Talebur Rahman has informed that action will be taken if anyone tries to cause chaos under the guise of political programs.
He made these remarks during a press conference in the capital on Sunday afternoon.
Deputy Commissioner Talebur Rahman has also informed that police officers in plainclothes are also deployed in addition to regular police officers.
The intelligence unit did not receive any information related to sabotage. However, Talebur Rahman assured that action would be taken against miscreants.
Regarding the road situation, he mentioned that since morning, police have been working to manage traffic. Additionally, to control law and order, 191 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed across the capital and the country.
