Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday forecasted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at different places across the country for the next 72 hours commencing from 9 am, reports BSS.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Chattogram divisions,” said BMD latest weather bulletin on Saturday morning.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin added.
“Trough of low lies over North Bay. A low pressure area is likely to form over the central Bay of Bengal around 22, 2024,” it said.
