13 held during raid at militant hideouts in Moulvibazar

Teams of law enforcing agencies detained 13 persons from a suspected militant hideout in Kulaura of Moulvibazar district.

Among the arrestees, there are six women and three children.    

A unit of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) conducted raid named "Operation Hillside" at the 'militant hideout' located at Purba Tatriuli village under Karmadha union of the upazila on Saturday morning to neutralize any potential risk stemming from the den.

Tipped-off, CTTC members cordoned off the suspected militant den from 8 pm on Friday.
