Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters affirmed Tuesday that the country’s armed forces remain fully prepared to respond decisively to any breach by adversaries, while rejecting misleading claims by United States President Donald Trump regarding battlefield realities, Al Mayadeen reported.
In a statement marking the anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Ali Abdollahi stressed that Iran’s armed forces are “ready to deliver decisive, immediate, and effective responses to enemy threats and aggression.”
“We will not allow Trump to spread misinformation about the battlefield situation, particularly during this period of battlefield silence, including control and management of the Strait of Hormuz,” Abdollahi said.
He underscored that Iran’s field superiority would counter “illusions” promoted by the US president, emphasizing the armed forces’ “absolute capability” in managing and controlling the strategic waterway despite the current military pause.
Abdollahi reiterated that Tehran would respond appropriately to any violation of agreements, warning that the country remains vigilant amid ongoing tensions.
