Israeli military and Hezbollah exchanged fire, threatening a ceasefire that went into effect last week’s Wednesday, reports Al Jazeera.
Israeli heavy attacks on Lebanon have killed at least 11 people on Monday that is against the ceasefire deal.
The increasingly fragile truce aimed to end more than a year of war between Hezbollah and Israel part of a wider regional conflict sparked by the devastating Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
With the mediation of the United State’ outgoing President Joe Biden and France President Emmanuel Macron, both side- Israel and Lebanon- agreed the ceasefire on last week’s Sunday.
But Israel breaking the silence has attacked on Lebanon, saying: “It targeted the Lebanon “militant” group Hezbollah.”
Later, Hezbollah on Monday attacked on Israel for the first time since the truce went into effect.
However, on the other side, the US incoming president Donald Trump has demanded the immediate release of Israeli hostages held by the Palestinian militant Hamas group in Gaza, saying on social media that if they are not freed before he takes office in January there would be HELL TO PAY.
