Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres, or MSF) say its staff are unable to evacuate from al-Shifa Hospital while hundreds also remain trapped at the Indonesian Hospital after at least 12 people were killed in the hospital in an Israeli attack, reports Al Jazeera.
Israeli air attacks have continued in Gaza through the night, hitting the al-Bureij camp, Rafah and Gaza City, among other areas.
Six Palestinians were killed and 10 injured when Israeli forces reportedly hit a residential building next to a crowded line waiting to fill water from a desalination station in Gaza City on Sunday.
On the other hand, 17 reported killed in Israeli strike on Nuseirat refugee camp.
According to Wafa, women and children were among those killed in the strike that took place after midnight.
Wafa also said that several people were also injured in the strike on the camp, located in the central part of Gaza.
Negotiations to secure the release of captives held in Gaza are advancing, the White House says, but nothing has been finalised. Relatives of captives urge far-right politicians to stop talk of the execution of Hamas detainees, saying it could endanger negotiations.
More than 13,300 people have been killed in Gaza since Israeli bombardment began on October 7, Gaza’s government media office says.
In Israel, the official death toll from Hamas’s attacks stands at about 1,200.
