The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights said countries across the world should come forward with further initiatives to stop providing Myanmar military forces with finance and arms.
In a report published on Friday, it calls for segregating military rulers of Myanmar as they have been failed to rule the country in meaningful and sustainable ways.
UN Rights office recommended the member-countries to impose ban on military force’s network so that they can’t earn in foreign currency and stop selling of weapons.
In report it said world community should show their support to the people of Myanmar and disconnect the military rulers from financial sources.
The US, UK, Canada and European Union have imposed ban on Myanmar; however some neighboring countries have continuous trade relationship with the country and providing artillery goods, reports Reuters.
