DMP files 2,089 cases over traffic rules violation

The traffic division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 2,089 cases of traffic violations in various parts of the capital.

These cases were filed on Sunday during operations carried out by eight DMP traffic divisions.

On Monday, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (DC) of DMP's Media and Public Relations Division, informed that in addition to the cases, 79 vehicles were dumped and 52 vehicles were towed during the operation.
