Chinese robotics startup Linkerbot, recognized as the global leader in highly dexterous robotic hands for humanoid robots, is aiming for a significant leap in valuation as it prepares for its next funding round. The company plans to target a $6 billion valuation, more than double its current valuation of $3 billion, following a recent funding boost, reports Reuters.
Beijing-based Linkerbot recently closed a “Series B+” funding round, securing the $3 billion valuation. However, the company has yet to disclose the exact timing or structure of its next funding round. It remains unclear whether Linkerbot intends to reach the $6 billion valuation through another private investment round or via an initial public offering (IPO).
The startup’s robotic hands are pivotal in advancing humanoid robots, with their precision and dexterity positioning Linkerbot as a leader in the rapidly growing robotics sector. The upcoming financing round, if successful, could further cement Linkerbot’s dominance in this innovative field.
