The second T20 international between Bangladesh and New Zealand was abandoned without a ball being bowled after persistent rain in Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, reports Daily Sun.
Steady showers throughout the day kept the pitch under covers and left the outfield unplayable, with no toss possible.
With conditions failing to improve, officials eventually called off the match.
Bangladesh now lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the opening game. The third and final T20I is scheduled to be played in Mirpur on 2 May.
