The National Sports Council has dissolved the current board of directors of BCB. NSC sports director Aminul Ehsan confirmed the matter at a press conference held Tuesday afternoon.
At the same time, a new 11-member ad hoc committee has been formed for a period of three months, with former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal as the president.
The members of the new ad hoc committee are Rashna Imam, Mirza Yasir Abbas, Syed Ibrahim Ahmed, Israfil Khasru, Minhajul Abedin, Athar Ali Khan, Tanjil Chowdhury, Salman Ispahani, Rafiqul Islam Babu and Fahim Sinha.
The NSC said that this decision was taken based on the report of the investigation committee they formed. The new committee will temporarily manage the activities of BCB.
