The Ministry of Youth and Sports will award sports education scholarships and national sports allowances to athletes and their families in the 2025–26 fiscal year.
The decision was approved by the National Krirashebi Kalyan Foundation under the ministry.
According to the initiative, outstanding sports students will be granted scholarships. Financial support in the form of allowances will be provided to insolvent, sick, injured and disabled sportspersons, as well as their family members.
A handout said online applications have been invited and must be submitted by 11:59 pm on 7 March.
Applicants are required to complete registration using their mobile numbers before applying through the designated websites.
