Bangladesh cricketer Nasir Hossain stepped beyond the boundary ropes on Friday, launching his new fashion brand ‘Be Positive’ while keeping an eye on life after cricket, reports Daily Sun.
Speaking at the brand’s opening ceremony, the 34-year-old said the venture fulfils a childhood dream and marks a new chapter in his journey.
“Obviously, it’s my childhood dream. If things go well, I might play for another four or five years,” Nasir said. “So I think this is the right time to get involved in something else.”
Explaining the brand name, the right-hand batter revealed a deeper motivation behind the choice.
“People in Bangladesh often talk and think very negatively. That’s why I chose the name ‘Be Positive’. In any situation, a person should stay positive or think positively,” he said. “By the grace of Allah, I hope it will be good.”
The stylish all-rounder admitted fashion has always attracted him.
“I’ve always liked fashion. Nothing is easy, but among all the hard tasks, this one seemed easier to me. That’s why I chose it,” he added.
While he continues to focus on his cricketing career, Nasir has now firmly planted his flag in the world of fashion— aiming to inspire positivity both on and off the field.
