Rishad Hossain has made waves in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 auction, becoming the second Bangladeshi player to secure a franchise spot.
The talented leg spinner was snapped up by Rawalpindi Raiders for 3 crore PKR, edging out competition from Karachi Kings.
A total of 879 cricketers were up for grabs this year, with 50 Bangladeshis entering the auction. Earlier, star pacer Mustafizur Rahman had already been picked by Lahore Qalandars for 6.44 crore PKR, highlighting Bangladesh’s growing influence in the PSL.
Rishad’s inclusion promises to strengthen Rawalpindi’s bowling attack, while Mustafizur’s experience with the Qalandars adds firepower to their bowling attack. Both players are expected to make a significant impact when the league gets underway.
