Even if Bangladesh does not play in the upcoming T20 World Cup, Bangladeshi viewers will be able to enjoy the World Cup matches from home. ICC officially announced on Thursday on which channels Bangladeshi fans and supporters will be able to watch the games.
According to the ICC notification, the 2026 T20 World Cup matches in Bangladesh will be broadcast live by the country's two popular sports channels, T Sports and Nagorik TV. In addition, international marketing company Total Sports Management (TSM) is working as the main broadcast partner of this tournament in Bangladesh.
For those who prefer to watch games on mobile or the internet, there will be the convenience of a digital platform. All the matches of the tournament will be streamed live on the popular app and website RabbitholeBD. As a result, viewers will be able to enjoy every moment of the game through smartphones even if they are not in front of the TV set.
This year's World Cup, jointly organized by India and Sri Lanka, is starting on February 7. A total of 55 matches will be held in this month-long tournament. The final match of the tournament will be held on March 8.
ICC has included Scotland in the tournament instead of Bangladesh, which withdrew its name due to political and security conflicts with India.
