The Asian side are unbeaten at the qualifier event in Nepal and are closing in on earning a spot at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in England and Wales in the middle of the year.
Bangladesh have received good performances from a range of players at the qualifier, with top-order batter Sharmin Akhter Supta leading the way with 156 runs from four innings to be the second leading run-scorer at the event.
The right-hander has scored a pair of half-centuries at the qualifier against USA and Ireland and improves 22 places to equal 35th overall on the list for T20I batters.
Teammate Sobhana Mostary rises 11 places to move to equal 52nd on the same list following a quartet of good scores.
It's a similar story on the latest rankings for T20I bowlers, with Bangladesh spinner Rabeya Khan improving one place to move to 14th overall following seven wickets through the first four matches her side has played at the qualifier event.
Bangladesh teammate Fahima Khatun gains six places to move to 30th on the same list.
The Tigresses already sit pretty at the top of the standings prior to the start of the Super Six stage having carried four points from two matches from the group phase.
The women in red and green will take on Thailand in Mulpani on Wednesday before traveling to Kirtipur for Friday’s clash against Scotland. Bangladesh will then return to Mulpani for their last Super Six tie, against the Netherlands, on Sunday.
The top four teams from the Super Six standings will qualify for the 10th edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup where eight teams already lie in wait.
