The Bangladesh Championship League (BCL), the country’s second-tier professional football competition, kicks off tomorrow (Sunday) with three matches scheduled across two venues in Dhaka.
On the opening day, Khelaghar Samaj Kalyan Samity will face City Club at Fortis Ground, Jalshiri, at 2:30 pm. At the same time, Wari Club will take on Dhaka Wanderers Club at the Bashundhara Kings Arena practice ground. Later in the evening at 6:00 pm, Little Friends Club will meet BRTC Sports Club at the Bashundhara venue.
The remaining first-round matches are set for Monday, January 26. Dhaka Rangers Football Club will clash with Chittagong Abaani Limited at the Bashundhara Kings Arena practice ground, while Chattogram City Football Club will play Shuktara Jubo Sangsad at Fortis Ground, Jalshiri.
Fans are eagerly anticipating a competitive start as clubs look to gain early momentum in this year’s BCL season.
