Bangladesh on Sunday named their squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with leaving out two middle order batter in Jaker Ali Anik and Mahidul Islam out while picking five quicks for the tournament in India and Sri Lanka.
Top-order batter Litton Das will lead a 15-men side that look to make a strong impression in global T20 competition while Saif Hassan will be his deputy.
Two top order option in Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Parvez Hossain Emon made the side while squad has Towhid Hridoy as only middle-order batter in the side.
Shamim Hossain and Nurul Hasan made the team as a finisher while a varied bowling attack will be led by left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman and fast bowler Taskin Ahmed.
Spin options include off-spinner Shak Mahedi Hasan, left arm spinner Nasum Ahmed and leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, while seam support will come from Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Shoriful Islam and Md Shaifuddin.
