Dhaka Capitals assistant coach Mahbub Ali Zaki's funeral was held at the Sylhet International Stadium. His funeral was held after the match between Rajshahi Warriors and Dhaka Capitals on Saturdayafternoon.
He died in the hospital in the afternoon after suffering a heart attack on the field. After the formalities at the hospital, his body was brought to the field. Later, under the supervision of his family, Zaki's body left for his home in his village in Cumilla.
Zaki died of a heart attack during the Dhaka Capitals and Rajshahi Warriors match in the BPL in the morning. Earlier, Dhaka Capitals had said that he suddenly fell ill and collapsed on the ground while conducting a practice session. Later, he was taken to a local hospital in Sylhet. After being taken to the hospital, the doctors there declared Zaki dead.
