Bangladesh captain Litton Das sought a dew assessment from the curator of the Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram on Sunday night, ahead of the three-match T20I series against the West Indies starting Monday.
All three matches of the series are scheduled to begin at 6pm (Bangladesh time), and with the games taking place in late October, dew is expected to play a significant role.
“Yesterday the dew was quite heavy. Tonight it’s a bit less, but still enough to make the ball wet. With a 6pm-start, the ball will get heavy after around 8–10 overs,” said a groundsman at the Sagarika venue.
