The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday announced the squad for the two ICC World Test Championship (WTC) matches against the West Indies, leaving out experienced campaigner Mushfiqur Rahim.
Mushfiqur's finger injury, which he sustained during the first ODI against Afghanistan recently basically sidelined him from the Test series.
He also missed the last two ODIs against Afghanistan.
But the veteran is expected to be featured in three-match ODI series in West Indies.
The squad however is almost same what played against South Africa recently at home.
The first Test gets underway on November 22 in Antigua while the second match starts on 30 November in Jamaica.
The two Tests will be followed by three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals.
Squad: Najmul Hossain Shanto (Captain), Shadman Islam, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Zakir Hasan, Mominul Haque, Mahidul Islam Ankon, Litton Das (WK), Jaker Ali Anik, Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Vice Captain), Taijul Islam, Shoriful Islam, Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud, Nahid Rana, Hasan Murad.
