UAE will host the men’s U-19 Asia Cup beginning on 29 November with the current champions Bangladesh taking on Afghanistan in the tournament opener.
The eight-team 50-over tournament will be held in Dubai and Sharjah with the final taking place on 8 December.
The eight teams have been divided into two groups.
Titled holders Bangladesh are placed in Group B with Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Nepal.
Meanwhile, Group A consists of India, Pakistan, Japan, and the hosts UAE. India and Pakistan are scheduled to face off on 30 November.
Group A matches will take place in Dubai while the Group B matches will take place in Sharjah.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals, which will take place at the same time on 6 December in the two cities. Dubai will host the final of the tournament on 8 December.
