Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus gave warm reception to the members of Bangladesh National Women’s Football Team.
The team have been hosted the reception at 11 am at the state guest house Jamuna in the capital.
Earlier, the team arrived there at 10:30 am.
Bangladesh women's football team returned home last Thursday after winning the SAFF Women's Championship 2024 in Nepal. Along with the Chief Advisor, Youth and Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan and the newly elected president of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Tabith Awal congratulated them for bringing this remarkable success for Bangladesh women's football team.
Apart from congratulating women footballers, BFF and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have also announced monetary awards.
Besides, after returning home from Nepal, BFF received them with a royal welcome through a roof-open bus. They were taken to BFF Bhaban by roof-open bus from the airport.
Bangladesh became the champions for the second consecutive time after defeating the hosts Nepal 2-1 at Dasharath Rangshala Stadium in Nepal on October 30.
