After ten years in Dhallywood, famous actress Pori Moni is now entering Tollywood. She announced in March 2024 that she will star in the mystery-thriller "Felubakshi."
Although the shooting was done, there was confusion about the release. The new update is that the production company has confirmed the film's release date.
The film will be released in theatres on 17 January. Pori Moni confirmed the news in a Facebook post on Friday night.
Pori Moni has played the role of Labonya in the Devraj Sinha- directed film. Tollywood actor Soham Chakraborty will be seen opposite Pori Moni in the project. The film also stars Madhumita Sarcar in an important role.
About the film, earlier Pori Moni said, “When I read the script I liked the character Labonya very much. I felt like I could bring out the role properly. That is why I’m doing the character. How well I have succeeded or am I able to do it, the audience will tell after the release on 17 January."
"Felubakshi" marks Pori's debut in Tollywood. Previously, the actress appeared in Dhaka-Kolkata co-productions, but this time, she will star in a film fully financed by a Kolkata-based production company.
