The body of Nahida Sultana Brishty, who was brutally killed in the United States, has arrived in Bangladesh.
The body reached Dhaka at 9:10am on Saturday aboard an flight via Dubai.
Brishty’s body was flown from Orlando International Airport on Thursday at 8:50pm local time on Emirates flight EK-0220 bound for Dhaka. After a transit in Dubai, the body arrived in Dhaka on Emirates flight EK-0582.
A representative from the Bangladesh Consulate in Miami was present at the Orlando airport during the departure process.
Earlier, Brishty’s first funeral prayer was held in Tampa on Wednesday local time. The body of Jamil Ahmed Limon, who was also killed in the same incident, arrived in Bangladesh on 4 May.
