BNP central leader and former minister advocate M Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu said save the people of the country by holding elections and restore their voting rights as soon as possible.
Dulu said this while speaking as the chief guest at the Eid gift distribution ceremony among the leaders and activists injured during the fascist regime at the temporary office of the district BNP in Alaipur on Saturday afternoon.
Advocate M Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu said, “I request the interim government to save the people of the country by holding elections as soon as possible. Sheikh Hasina has completed 15 and a half years of fascism with elections. Give the people of the country an opportunity to vote through elections. BNP will form a government under the leadership of Tarique Rahman with the symbol of a sheaf of rice in the next election.”
BNP leader Dulu said, “We have wanted the fall of the fascist Awami League government. But we will not take to the streets against that government to form a new political party. The student community of this country is our pride. You have established the Bengali language through the language movement. The country was liberated through fighting the war of independence. You removed Sheikh Hasina from the country and built a fascism-free country.”
