Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday forecasted weather may remain dry over the country but have chances of light rain or drizzling at one or two places over Rangpur division.
“Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur division,” according to the forecast begins from 9am on Monday, reports BSS.
A ridge of sub-continental high extends up to the West Bengal and the adjoining area. A seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during late night to early morning.
Night temperature may rise slightly over the southern part and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country. Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 31.0 degrees Celsius at Feni and minimum temperature on Monday was recorded at 10.8 degrees Celsius at Jashore.
The sun will set at 05:31 pm on Monday and will rise at 06:43 am in Dhaka on Tuesday.
