BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said what we want now, what every Bangladeshi wants at this moment is, Tarique Rahman's leadership and his coming back to the country.
He said, "Let us move forward with our leader Tarique Rahman's groundbreaking 31-point plans. I have been saying this time and again, and I want to say it again that the most important thing to face this challenge is to pave the way for this reform through an acceptable election very soon. That is the only worthy task, the biggest demand at this moment.”
He said this at the great Victory Day discussion meeting at the Engineers Institution in Ramna on Sunday afternoon.
Mirza Fakhrul said, "Let us, who are the leaders, activists and supporters of BNP, move forward together towards this goal. One more thing to remember is that our acting chairman has repeatedly said that whether we will get the love of the people in the future will depend on our conduct... Let us move forward keeping this thing in mind.”
