The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted dry weather across the country for the next 24 hours, starting at 9 am on Sunday.
"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country until 9am on tomorrow", it said.
A low-pressure area has formed over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining area. Its associated trough extends up to the Northeast Bay. A Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining areas.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over the northern part and light to moderate fog at some places elsewhere over the country from late night to early Monday morning.
The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 30.2 degrees Celsius at Teknaf and minimum temperature on Sunday was 10.6 degrees Celsius at Badalgachhi in Rajshahi division.
Night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The sun sets at 05:11 PM on Sunday and rises at 06:30 AM on Monda in the capital.
